Float Tea Cups by Todd MacAllen and Stephanie Forsythe of Molo Design are carefully handcrafted by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic using the highest quality German borosilicate glass. The float tea cups can be used to serve very hot or very cold liquids. The suspended bowl design at the bottom of the glasses serves to elevate condensation away from the table surface, making the use of a coaster unnecessary. Use for hot tea, cold tea, scotch, white wine, water, fruit juice or coffee. Whatever you serve, it is the liquid inside which is emphasized, becoming a lens of liquid color, suspended within the glass, projecting a play of colored light onto the table surface. The fritted tea cups are identical to the clear tea cups except they have been glazed with a borosilcate frit, which creates a luminous translucent finish.
